The weekly talk show features guests who discuss Libertarian ideas. Mark co-hosts the show with LP member Dusti Taylor. In San Diego the show airs Wednesday evening at 10:30 PM on Time Warner Cable channel 19. Also, Thursday evening at 11:00 PM on Cox Cable channel 23 (Channel 18 in North County). SDLP Supper Club – October George Passantino is a Senior Fellow at the Reason Foundation, a nonprofit think tank advancing free minds and free markets, as well as partner of a strategic communications firm, Passantino Andersen Communications. Passantino has authored numerous studies and writes for local and national news publications such as The Los Angeles Times, The San Diego Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, and Investor’s Business Daily. In 2004 he was tapped to serve as a Director of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's historic California Performance Review. He has written extensively on government reform, the looming pension crisis, and the dangerous of public debt financing of infrastructure. Passantino will present Reason Foundation’s comprehensive analysis of the High Speed Rail and Proposition 1A: Safe, Reliable High-Speed Passenger Train Bond Act. The study offers a deep analysis on the true costs and impacts of this proposed rail system.
