California Libertarian Convention, February 22, 23, and 24th in San Diego!!!

San Diego is honored to be the host city for the 2008 California Libertarian Party Convention. Normally, the California Libertarian Party hosts its annual convention in central or northern California. Not this time! One need only travel to Mission Bay to enjoy the company of Libertarians from all over the state! The California Libertarian Party Convention will be held at the Marina Village Conference Center located at 1936 Quivera Way, San Diego, CA 92109. With a world class program and sunset views, this years convention promises to be informative, entertaining, and loads of fun!!! The program includes:

Friday, February 22nd 

12:00 to 5:00pm Committee meetings
6:00 to 6:30pm Business session
7:00 to 10:00pm Evening off-site event (to be announced)

  Saturday, February 23rd  

7:00 to 8:30am Breakfast buffet and registration, Outreach workshop using live theatre by Orlando-Ward & Associates
8:45 to 12:00pm Credentials report/business session
12:15-1:30pm Sunset Room – Lunch buffet, Featured keynote speaker: Mary Ruwart
1:45-5:30pm Business session
6:00pm-12:00am Sunset Room – Evening Banquet – Buffet dinner with a full cash bar, Featured keynote speaker: Tibor Machan. Also, Mark Whitney’s one-man show “Freedom Factor”, and Dan Litwin’s rock band.

  Sunday, February 24th  

7:30 to 8:45am Breakfast buffet, Featured keynote speaker: Richard Rider
9:00 to 11:45am Credentials report/business session
12:00 to 1:45pm Boxed gourmet lunch, Presidential candidates panel and/or debate and straw poll
2:00 to 4:00pm Business session
4:15 to 6:30pm Executive committee meeting
